Ahhh, A Little Bit of Pain Relief

I was nervous about going out for this morning's 3 mile run. I thought it would be painful in my knee and hip. I made sure to eat 1/2 power bar and some gatorade. My knee did start to hurt in the beginning, but not nearly as painful as Monday. Maybe the leg strengthening exercises on Monday night helped a bit. After 5 minutes, the pain subsided. Not that my knee felt perfect, just a whole lot better than it has. Going down to Waikiki wasn't too bad, I breezed through all the lights. I almost wished I could stop at the lights for a little rest. But, I made it to the halfway mark okay. On the way back my energy felt zapped. Even though I didn't have pain, I just couldn't go any faster. Maybe I need to strengthen my heart muscle a lot more. It felt good to stretch when I got home. I felt a lot more balanced with my body (usually it feels like my right side is soooo weak) today, it felt almost as strong.
